Mandatory Appearance & Potential Penalties

Subpoenas are issued as part of the natural procession of a trial, and are a key part of the justice system. Ignoring a subpoena can be considered a serious matter. Upon receiving a subpoena, please be sure to follow all the instructions listed on the document addressed to you. You may contact our Office if you need to make alternative arrangements, and if you have arranged to appear at an alternate time, it is crucial that you abide by that change.
