The District Attorney serves as the county’s chief law enforcement officer, overseeing the investigation and prosecution of criminal and civil cases on behalf of The People. Covering a jurisdiction of more than 4,000 square miles, the office serves approximately 132,000 Humboldt County residents. Our team of professionals includes attorneys, investigators, victim advocates, administrative and clerical support staff working together to uphold justice.
