Our team offers site selection and predevelopment support, assisting developers and property owners in identifying suitable sites, understanding zoning and infrastructure considerations, and evaluating development readiness. We work closely with local jurisdictions, utilities, and regional partners to help align projects with available land, facilities, and long-term community and economic goals.
Access to Capital
We also support access to capital by facilitating connections to financing programs administered through trusted regional partners, including the Redwood Region Economic Development Commission (RREDC) and North Edge. These partners provide a range of loan products designed to support business start-ups, expansions, working capital needs, and real estate development, helping projects bridge financing gaps and move from concept to execution. County funding is frequently provided through these opportunities.
Facilitating Connections
Finally, the Economic Development team acts as a liaison between businesses and the local, regional, and state agencies involved in permitting and development. We help coordinate conversations, identify requirements early, and connect project proponents to the appropriate regulatory, infrastructure, and technical assistance resources. Where workforce needs are a factor, we can also assist in identifying training, recruitment, and workforce development solutions in coordination with our Workforce Development team and our regional workforce partners.
