Substance Use Disorder Services of the Wellness & Recovery Program
Humboldt County contracts with Partnership HealthPlan of California as part of the Wellness & Recovery Program. The Wellness & Recovery Program offers substance use disorder (SUD) services, as regulated by the California Department of Health Care Services’ Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (ODS) to eligible individuals.
The Wellness & Recovery Program encompasses seven counties: Humboldt, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou and Solano.

Eligibility
Individuals who are experiencing substance use problems that are impacting their physical health, interpersonal relationships or causing employment or legal issues may be eligible for SUD services of the Wellness & Recovery Program.
Call Partnership HealthPlan of California to complete a brief screening and connect with a SUD treatment provider who offers the level of care that fits your needs. Program staff will connect with you during the call to schedule an assessment should you be referred to a provider of the Wellness & Recovery Program.

Humboldt County Managed SUD Programs
DHHS- Behavioral Health provides SUD treatment to Medi-Cal beneficiaries who meet medical necessity for outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care. The following three programs are Drug Medi-Cal certified:

Offers outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment. Treatment is conducted in treatment groups or individually. Treatment groups include, but are not limited to:
- Co-occurring
- Women’s Recovery
- Men’s Recovery
- Adolescent Treatment Program (see separate description)
Adolescent Treatment Program
The Adolescent Treatment Program (ATP) utilizes evidence-based practices from a variety of approaches designed to best meet the needs of youth ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing SUD, including mild, moderate and/or severe SUD.
Healthy Moms Program
Healthy Moms is a substance use disorder treatment program that assists participants in treating their addictions and supporting them to become healthy, productive women and mothers. Childcare is provided on-site for children under the age of 6.
