The County of Humboldt is proud to showcase a variety of permanent art displays in its public buildings, celebrating the rich history, diverse culture and natural beauty of California's North Coast. To make these works of art more accessible to everyone, including individuals who are blind or have low vision, the county has developed this web page as a digital extension to its physical art exhibits. Here, you will find images of selected artworks along with detailed descriptions and background information about each piece displayed throughout the County of Humboldt’s facilities. As this resource continues to grow, it will highlight more artists and the stories behind their work, helping all community members connect with and appreciate the art that surrounds them. The county invites you to explore, learn and enjoy.
