Medical Therapy Program

Children who are experiencing impaired function as a result of qualifying medical diagnoses may receive physical and/or occupational therapy through the Medical Therapy Program (MTP). Children aged 0 to 3 years old who are at-risk for developing a qualifying long-term condition may also be eligible. Pediatric physical and occupational therapists in the MTP specialize in providing family-centered therapy services. The goal of therapy is directed toward attaining maximum function across all the environments of childhood—home, school and community.

Medical Therapy Unit

Therapy takes place at the Medical Therapy Unit at Glen Paul School in Eureka. Referrals to the program can be made by parents, physicians, specialty clinics, school nurses, hospitals or other agencies.
