The Department of Public Works, with support from engineering consultant GHD, is developing a Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) for the roads under the jurisdiction of Humboldt County. The LRSP will provide a framework for identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing roadway safety improvements on local roads. Further detailed information is available on the website below. Humboldt County residents contributed to the project survey and project map during the public engagement period from November 1, 2023 to April 1, 2024. The Humboldt County LRSP will be finalized in May 2024.
