6th Avenue Speed Humps (Westhaven)

Project Description: A community group proposed to fund the construction of speed humps on 6th Avenue in Westhaven pursuant to the County's Speed Hump Policy. 

Dating back to 2021, a series of community meetings were held to discuss the planning of the project. The photo below shows the location of the speed humps.

Work was completed on April of 2024 through a partnership with public works, the Westhaven community, and local construction companies.
