The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with McKinleyville High School, McKinleyville Ace Hardware and the McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present: Public Safety Sunday, a chance for community members to get to know your local public safety agencies, view safety demonstrations and equipment, and learn more about how you can also play a big role in making our community safe. 

Public Safety Sunday is happening on April 13 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at McKinleyville High School (1300 Murray Road). 

The event will include displays and emergency equipment from multiple agencies and safety demonstrations happening throughout the afternoon. Come see inside a Mobile Command Van, learn about helicopters, meet K9 Deputies, see inside emergency vehicles and more! 

This event is family-friendly, with activities for kids and adults alike to enjoy. While pets are part of the family, they are not allowed at this event. Please leave your pets at home.
