Due to an unknown AT&T error, our Emergency Communications Center is not receiving automatic location and phone number information from 911 calls. If you are experiencing an emergency and call 911, you MUST provide your location and phone number, or we may not be able to reach you.
Additionally, we have been notified that some McKinleyville landlines (beginning with 707-839 and 707-840) are experiencing a complete outage. Residents impacted by this outage are urged to utilize a cell phone if in need of emergency services. Be sure to provide location and phone number information when calling.
Text to 911 is not impacted by this outage.
AT&T has not given an estimated time of restoration for these services.
