Join us at the Rio Dell Library for a weekly story time filled with stories, songs and fun. When we're finished children and caregivers are invited to explore the library with our themed scavenger hunt and play at the children's table.

Story Time is Good for Children

Children who often hear stories read aloud learn how to listen, learn more words and how to use them, and absorb new facts and ideas. In the adventure of story, kids also grow in imagination, problem-solving and creativity. Kids who listen to stories are better prepared for life and school. Story time at the library builds a child's fascination with reading and teaches skills that can be a lifelong advantage.
