All Humboldt County Library locations close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve). Hours are adjusted at select locations; other branches remain on regular schedules. Visit the calendar for adjusted hours at every branch. 

All Humboldt County libraries are closed on Thursday, January 1, New Year's Day.

  • It's the last week to see The Friends of the Redwood Libraries 2026 Calendar Art Show at The Hagopian Gallery. Artwork has been created by Children of Humboldt County as their contribution to the Friends of the Redwood Libraries Children's Art Calendar.
  • No story times this week, we will resume regular story times next week, Jan. 9.
